Following the September 14 ‘California Streaming’ Apple Event, the new line of products for Apple for the year has been announced.
The California Streaming Apple event debuted on the 14th of September, here are some of the main takeaways from the long-awaited yearly event.
The iPhone 13 will be available in five colors: red, starlight (a whiteish shade), midnight (a blackish shade), blue and pink. The two camera lenses on the back of the smartphone have been placed diagonally.
The new camera features a brand new telephoto lens, Ultra-wide and wide lenses. Low light photos will look brighter and sharper, optical zoom will get a boost, while the system will allow for macro photography to get detailed closeups on objects. The smartphones will also feature Night Mode for taking pictures without proper lighting conditions.
In lieu of the release of the iPhone 13, the price of iPhone 11 has been dropped to just $499. The updated price for the new iPhone series are as follows:
- iPhone SE: $399
- iPhone 11: $499
- iPhone 12: $599
- iPhone 13: $699
- iPhone 13 Pro: $999
iPad Mini 6
Apple says the new iPad Mini, which will feature an 8.3-inch touchscreen, will perform 80% faster than the previous model. The tablet, available Sept. 24, will include an upgrade to its cameras, support for the second-generation Apple Pencil, and support for 5G wireless networks
In lieu of the release of the iPad Mini 6, the price of the base iPad has been dropped to just $299.
Apple Watch Series 7
Apple Watch Series 7 is the most durable Apple Watch ever, with a stronger, more crack-resistant front crystal. It is the first Apple Watch to have an IP6X certification for resistance to dust, and maintains a WR50 water resistance rating.
Available with straps still compatible with new and previous Apple Watch models, the Apple Watch Series 7 will start at $399, the Apple Watch SE will start now at $279
Unfortunately, the circulating rumors that the AirPods 3 will be announced has been proven false. Rumors circulated are that the third-gen AirPods would support active noise cancellation and spatial audio.
