Online gambling and eSports betting operator, Esports Entertainment Group Incorporated, has announced that it has relocated its headquarters to Malta while hiring two experienced professionals to fill key positions within an expanded executive team.

Previously based in Antigua and Barbuda, the firm used an official Thursday press release to declare that it selected Malta as its new home due to the jurisdiction’s ‘strategic location within the European Union’ alongside the presence of a multilingual and highly educated workforce with extensive experience in online gambling.

Esports Entertainment Group Inc explained that it is responsible for the exchange-style online wagering domain at Vie.gg that allows aficionados to place bets on eSports games such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends and Call of Duty. Licensed by regulators in the Netherlands, Canada and Curacao, the firm also stated that it intends to intensify the development of this site throughout 2019 in hopes of making it ‘the world’s first and most transparent eSports betting exchange.’
