‘Win, lose or tie, Arsenal till I die’ – Mumbai is Gunners mad. So fanatical is the support for Arsene Wenger’s men what one fan even wore a replica shirt to a wedding.
To celebrate the official launch of the new home shirt, PUMA have gone out to speak to Arsenal fanatics around the world to find out what the club mean to them.
Four iconic cities feature in a ‘We Are THE Arsenal’ campaign that celebrates Gunners fans from across the globe.
And few places on the planet can claim to be home to a fan group as devoted as the one you will find in India.
Their love for all things Arsenal comes even before work, with one fan admitting his passion for the club leads to some tricky Monday mornings back in the office after an emotional weekend cheering on his side.
The campaign kicked off last week with a special video featuring legends both past and present, as Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Freddie Ljungberg joined Hector Bellerin & Santi Cazorla, highlighting just what the club means to its global support.
“These films are a nice way to recognise the importance of the supporters, and to show their knowledge and passion is the same in every continent,” said Cazorla.
