Razer (High end gaming hardware producer) CEO, Min-Liang Tan has invested a hefty amount into driving eSports in both his native country Singapore and Malaysia. Lim Guan Eng, Malaysia’s Finance Minister, and Razor CEO, Tan, both committed $3.3million to the “Malaysian Digital Economy for eSports”.
As quoted from Tan, “My investment in Malaysian eSports is a good thing for the entire community and Singaporeans should be happy that the entire region is going to grow in eSports”.
Asia alone, has made up half of the entire gaming market globally in the last quarter of 2017.
