Macau’s casino junket operators are facing tightened rules of operation, although when those rules might arrive or what they might look like is anyone’s guess.
Delta, India’s only listed casino and online gaming company, announced its results for the months starting in July and ending in September, 2019. The company reported total revenue of Rs. 252.76 crores ($35.4 million), which was a Rs. 16 crores ($2.2 million) increase over the second quarter of this year.

Despite its woes in Asia, Playtech is doing pretty well elsewhere. The major gambling technology company said Thursday that it has gone live in the newly regulated Swiss online gambling market through a partnership with one of the major players in Switzerland’s land-based casino space.
Bangladesh’s main political opposition party says it can’t support the government’s plans to open foreigner-only casino zones, sentiments echoed by the country’s current finance minister.
Duterte said he would not “particularize” any one nation, but said “there are foreigners who come here to play their trade, lending money and if the debtor cannot pay, they kidnap and sometimes they ask for ransom.” Duterte added that he “will not hesitate even to tell your ambassador I killed your idiot citizen because he was f****** in my country … To me you are just another carcass.”

Bangladesh’s population is around 90% Muslim, a religion that takes a particularly dim view of gambling. But Haque noted that Malaysia is also a Muslim country that offers foreign tourists the opportunity to access casino gambling at the Genting Highlands resort.
