Philippines regulator establishing pair of iGaming hubs

The head for the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCor) regulator has reportedly announced that her organization is to encourage all of the Asian nation’s online gaming operators to relocate their offices to a pair of coming iGaming hubs.

According to a report from GGRAsia citing information from the local BusinessWorld newspaper, Andrea Domingo made the revelation during last week’s Phil-Asian Gaming Expo in Manila and subsequently detailed that the two zones are to soon feature a plethora of office and residential spaces alongside a variety of convenience and grocery stores.

GGRAsia reported that iGaming firms in the Philippines are required to market their services to offshore gamblers while Domingo declared that having such enterprises in only a few select locales would make it ‘easier for us to regulate’. She also purportedly explained that the future hubs are to encompass a 24.7-acre plot of land within the
