“This event is themed squad up, which will not only be happening for the participants but also for the esports stakeholders in Malaysia. Together with the stakeholders, PMNC is doing a complete ecosystem for Malaysia Esports, starting from players, teams, leagues, fans and also sponsors. This competition is part of an effort to create a competitive community through PUBG Mobile by Tencent Games. We hope this act will get nationwide support, so that new talents in esports will grow in numbers. Furthermore, with esports entering into the Asian Games 2019 scene, we hope that this PUBG Mobile tournament will bring esports to a higher level, and will be able to bring Malaysia’s name to the level of Asia and the global esports scene,” said Oliver Ye, Tencent Game’s SEA Director.
